TG Putty ist eine elektrisch nichtleitende Alternative zu herkömmlichen Wärmeleitpads. Als leicht aufzutragender und flexibler ''Gap-Filler'' gleicht es Höhenunterschiede aus und eignet sich somit ideal als Ersatz für Wärmeleitpads auf Grafikkarten. Hier kommen in der Regel ab Werk mehrere Arten von Wärmeleitpads in unterschiedlichen Höhen zum Einsatz, sodass beim Erneuern der Pads oder beim Umbau des Kühlers auf einen GPU-Wasserkühler entsprechend mehrere unterschiedliche Pads benötigt werden. Das Auftragen des TG Putties erfolgt mit den beiliegenden Spachteln, die auch ein großflächiges Auftragen ermöglichen. Das TG Putty kann dabei Höhenunterschiede von 0,2 bis 3,0 mm ausgleichen.
